Who Am I?

I’m a son, who has taken over the family business following in his father’s footsteps. I’m a brother, who successfully coached his younger brother to win a US national championship in cycling. I’m a loyal husband to my high school sweetheart. My love for her grows more every day for more than 10 years now. I’m a soon to be father, which is a role I am most excited to take on. I am also, Santa Claus for my nephews and nieces during Christmas time. Although as they get older they are closer to realizing it's me in the santa suit! Ha! A dog trainer, who loves teaching my dog new tricks. See video. I am a babysitter for my nieces and nephews, which has taught me a lot about children. I’m also a Jiu Jitsu practitioner who empowers children to be bully proof. I love life and grab it by the horns and enjoy every moment of it. I don’t love just one thing, I like all things and I want to do it all. However, I strive to not just do it right but perfectly. I strive to be a perfect husband, brother, friend, dad and even the perfect Santa Clause. I love life and everyone in it that makes it so great and worth while. Follow my story see the blog click here.

Blissful Baby

A Dad's Perspective.
Let's Raise a Blissful Baby Together!

Wow! We are Pregnant. I’m a BLISSFUL dad that’s for sure! I couldn’t be happier my wife and I decided to start a family. This is such a happy time and I want to document everything about it, which is why I decided to start my Blissful Dad Blog. Let’s start from the beginning…

When we decided to try for a baby, we did the research for the best time to get pregnant, tracked the calendar, and crossed our fingers. It was more nerve racking than I thought. Did it work? Are we pregnant? Did we miss the ovulation window? All of these things played in our heads as we waited. We wanted to have a baby. We were so ready.

My wife and I are high school sweethearts. I proposed to her in Paris next to the Eiffel Tower after 5 years together; we got married 2 years after that and 9 years later together, we decided to have a baby! We were more than ready. So, of course a few weeks into it, we excitedly purchase a pregnancy test but it came back negative. We were disappointed but it was possibly just too early.

A week after the negative pregnancy test, I came home to a wonderful dinner my wife had prepared and assumed it was because we were celebrating our 9 year dating anniversary. After dinner, my wife gave me a box. Not sure what it was, I opened it and it was the best gift a man could ever get. Wrapped in a box underneath some beautiful words from my wife was a POSITIVE pregnancy test! I have never been happier to see two pink lines. I couldn't stop the tears from forming in my eyes. I was ecstatic to know we were going to start our family, finally.
